Cardiology & Internal Medicine of Long Island has been serving the Long Island community since 1984. Patients are our organization's most valuable assets. Our goal is to provide the finest-quality services and care to all who enter our doors. In our effort to consistently provide excellent care to our patients, we are constantly expanding our services so that our office may meet all of your individual healthcare needs.
Within our offices, patients have access to internal medicine and family practice providers, as well as specialists including cardiologists, endocrinologists and radiologists. In addition, for our patients convenience, we provide full laboratory services.
We also provide a full range of testing on-site. Our accredited nuclear cardiology lab performs nuclear stress tests five days per week, beginning early in the morning to accommodate the early risers. The accredited Ultrasound suite can perform a variety of tests including echocardiograms, exercise stress tests, studies of the veins and arteries to check for appropriate blood flow to the extremities, studies of the carotid, aortic and renal arteries, and a study of the cerebral blood flow to the brain called a Transcranial Doppler.
Recently, the sonography lab has been updated with the newest technology which allows stat testing of the abdomen, bladder and kidneys. Other specialized testing includes a T-Wave Alternans test which detects serious arrhythmias, and a PVR test which will demonstrate arterial blockages in the lower extremities. General x-rays and bone density testing is also performed on site, insurance permitting.
The Cardiology and Internal Medicine office at 510 Hicksville Road is open five days per week. Early appointments are available for physicians, laboratory and testing. Evening appointments until 7pm are also available.
Our family practice is located at 99 Grand Avenue and is open six days per week. Hours begin at 8 am and end at 8pm.
